MPI GENERALI RUN 2017 - RACEKIT COLLECTION AND ROAD CLOSURE

The 6th annual MPI Generali Run will kickstart on Sunday, 8-January-2017 in Padang Merbuk, Jalan Parlimen, Kuala Lumpur. The run consists of a 10km competitive run and a 5km fun run.

Participants may pick up the race pack as follows.

5 - 6 January, 2017 (Thursday & Friday)
12.00noon - 8.00pm

7 January, 2017 (Saturday)
10.00am - 4.00pm




Partial Road Closure
Roads leading to Padang Merbuk will be partially closed from 6.30am to 9.30am. There will be safety cones and clearly marked zones for runners to run within the stipulated perimeters as part of the safety precaution in preventing accidents from happening.

The affected roads include -
Jalan Sultan Salahuddin
Jalan Parlimen
Jalan Tun Ismail
Jalan Tunku
Jalan Berjasa

Participants are encouraged to carpool or hop onto the LRT or KTM commuter trains. The nearest lrt stations are Masjid Jamek and Bandaraya and station Bank Negara for KTM commuter.

Project leader Jayne Liew commented, 'we are looking forward to seeing new and seasoned runners on 8 January 2017 and safety for our participants is very important to us.'

Remember to collect your race pack on the designated dates. There will be no distribution on event day.
