95 Taiwan Excellence Products to Promote Healthy & Excellence Lifestyle
[Kuala Lumpur, 26 September 2019] Representing
the best of Taiwanese innovation and product quality, Taiwan Excellence has
made tremendous headway in promoting its branding in Malaysia and participats in
Malaysia’s largest marathon ~ the Kuala Lumpur Standard Chartered Marathon 2019
for the first time this year. By carrying the slogan “Everyday Excellence”,
Taiwan Excellence showcases95 different products from 27 Taiwanese
manufacturers at the Active Lifestyle Expo from the 26th to 28th
of September.
Themed “Run in
Style”, Taiwan Excellence Pavilion in the Expo showcases 4 major
categories: sports & leisure, health & beauty, e-sports & ICT
and lifestyle. Amongst the featured items are the Matrix TF50XR professional
treadmill by Johnson Fitness which comes with the company’s
Ultimate Deck and state-of-the-art Johnson Drive System; compression sportswear
by U.CR+ which are made using environmentally friendly high-tech
materials to achieve low air resistance and improve performance; carbon fiber
road bicycles by Volanda that are designed for competitive use featuring
lightweight and shock absorbing frames designed to draw out every competitive
edge; facial cleansing products, moisturisers and active body cleansers from MASKINGDOM
that are designed for active lifestyles; and the GF75 Thin gaming laptop by MSI
designed for a truly immersive gaming experience.
Smart Running in Preparation for Marathon
In addition to product testing at the booth, Taiwan
Excellence also invited renowned Malaysian marathoner Coach Edan Syah from the
Smart Athletics Club to host a running workshop for the visitors where he demonstrated
the proper way to run and strategies to improve performance.
Edan Syah was selected as Malaysia’s fastest
marathon runner in 2016 and has achieved outstanding results in various
international marathon competitions, including a personal best of 2 hours, 30
minutes and 53 seconds in the 2017 Gold Coast Marathon. Edan Syah has always
advocated “smart” running based on the right knowledge and adjusting the speed
and intensity of running according to an individual’s heart rate in order to
allow the body to perform at its peak in all situations.
During Edan Syah’s demonstration of his warm-up
routine on stage, the audience was spurred by his energy and enthusiasm and started
moving with him in a mass workout session
In addition to the
energetic demonstrations by celebrity coach Edan Syah, Taiwan Excellence also
has a series of exciting activities lined up across the three-day event. “Run
for Excellence” encourage runners compete in race from Johnson
Fitness and Spirit treadmill; visitors are also
encouraged share their running photographs in the “Snap & Share My Running
photos” activityto redeem a secret present; fans of Malaysian internet
sensation Danny Koo can also get the chance to meet him personally as he will
be spending the healthy and wonderful weekend with participants.
Visitors
at the expo can experience the innovation of Taiwanese products first-hand with
professionals at hand to guide them on the use of the products. After
delivering a speech, Mr. Wan Yew Leong, Programme Director of Olympic Council
of Malaysia Advanced Sport Management Course (ASMC) listens to the introduction
of Johnson Fitness & Spirit machines. He encourages everyone with a busy
daily schedule to steal time at odd moments and workout from a modern treadmill.
Wan also expresses his interest in Step2Gold
Tada Chair, which is a portable chair as well as a walking stick.
The inaugural
Standard Chartered Marathon in Kuala Lumpur began 11 years ago with 10,000
participants and the number of participants has since grown to 40,000 for this
year’s event. The marathon is one of the most highlighted events in the
Malaysia’s running calendar and is also the first running event in Malaysia’s
history where participants are selected through a ballot system.
The Taiwan
Excellence Pavilion pre-marathon Active Lifestyle Expo will be held in booth
S3, Hall 4 at the Putra World Trade Centre in Kuala Lumpur.

The symbol of Taiwan Excellence
honours Taiwan’s most innovative products that provide tremendous value to
users worldwide. All products carrying this symbol have been selected for
specific Taiwan Excellence Awards based on their excellence in R&D, design,
quality, and marketing that offer “Innovative Value” while satisfying the key
criterion of being “made in Taiwan”. Initiated by the Ministry of Economic
Affairs (MOEA), R.O.C. in 1992, the symbol of Taiwan Excellence is recognized
by 102 countries.

Excellence Mark
The Taiwan Excellence logo is inspired by the pursue of
“perfection” and the six interwoven arcs represent the close ties Taiwan has
with the global economic system and the interconnectivity of today’s industries
while the red colour represents the vitality of Taiwanese companies. The six
arcs are independent on their own but yet come together to form a strong
collective image to represent the way Taiwanese industries complement each
other to form a whole.
The Taiwan Excellence logo has been registered in 102
countries to date.
